People Battles (Retaliation)

What does God say about retaliating against people?
We got a bad habit of falling into that “get back” mindset. And the enemy, he tries to make it sound so GOOD! If we really pay attention we are taking part in a form of getting vengeance on others.
What is vengeance? the punishment inflicted in retaliation for an injury or offense.
Saying things like…
“Keep that same energy”
“Karma gonna get them, don’t worry”
"Imma pull you on you"
This is us trynna repay evil with evil 🥴🫠
The Bible says…
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.
1 Peter 3:9 NLT
Also remember, God doesn’t need our help to judge or punish anyone.
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says Lord. Romans 12:19 NKJV
Instead, He tells us to clothe and feed our enemies again he says, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 NKJV
We have to learn how to respond in love.
Give in love...
Walk in love...
Talk in love...
Everything in love...
It seems impossible but it should ALWAYS be the goal for each and every one of us!
